Gram Prime is the best melee weapon you can find in Warframe. This weapon is a sought-after one, capable of cutting through any creature that gets in its path. Gram Prime is often referred to as the father of all swords. It has better attributes than the original Gram, and it deals with high slash damage. This sword is very special and suitable for Tennos who like heavy blades. Gram Prime has a 32% critical chance and a 2.6x damage multiplier. It’s also one of the slowest melee weapons in terms of attack speed. Here are some stats about it.
- Attack Speed:0.800
- Channeling cost:5
- Channelling Damage:1.5x
- Critical Chance32.0%
- Critical Multiplier2.6x
- Damage Block80.0%
- Leap Attack:180.0
- Spin Attack:360.0
- Wall Attack:360.0
It’s incredible, right? We will deal with the slow attack speed, but don’t be alarmed. Here is the top Gram Prime builds, prices, and farming guides.
How to get Gram Prime
There are many ways to farm Gram Prime within Warframe. While buying the Primed Vault might seem like the easiest way to farm Gram Prime, it is not the most cost-effective. Here are some ways to obtain the Gram Prime blade, and other important relics, without spending any money.
Meso S8 – Blade (Common)
Aside from Bronco Prime Receiver, the Meso S8 relic contains a slew of prime components and blueprints including the Gram Prime blade. We recommend IO on Jupiter if you want to farm the Meso Prime relics.
This is the fastest and easiest way to farm Meso relics. You can complete the defense mission in 8 minutes. The new relics will “usually” drop-in every rotation of this mission. However, we recommend that you defend the target until Wave 10 is completed in order to obtain at least 2 Meso relics.
Neo G1 – Handle (Rare).
The Neo G1 relics contain many prime components and blueprints, such as the Koyake Prime Boot or the Gram Prime Handle. Hydron on Sedna is recommended to farm these relics.
You will get Neo relics after the first 10 rounds. However, if you find the mission too difficult, you can opt for the interception mission in Xinyi On Eris. You will find all the Neo relics you need in only 2 rounds of interception.
Axis 04 Blueprints (Uncommon)
Finally, we have Axis 04. It contains Oberon Prime System and Zephyr Prime Neuroptics as well as several other blueprints.
You can continue on Sedna for around 15 to 20 more relics to get the Axis 04 relics. We recommend Xinyi, Eris because it has a higher drop rate. Round two gives you the Neo relics. You can then go to round 3 or 4 for the Axi Relics.
Gram Prime Builds
Now that you have seen the locations of the Gram Prime Blade as well as other relics, it is time to show you our list of the best Gram Prime builds that are capable of turning the sword into a furious monster.
The Cleaving Whirlwind will be our first build. It’s a stance mod that fits the Gram Prime perfectly.
We decided to add Berserker as a way to combat the slow attack speed of Gram Prime. This mod temporarily increases Gram Prime’s attack speed upon a critical hit. It can be up to +75%. It can be equipped with Primed Fury, and you will be ready to go.
Drifting Contact is the third build. It’s literally a rare melee mod capable of extending the duration of the melee combo counter to up to 13 seconds and it also increases the Gram Prime status chance. So these are the primary Gram Prime builds we are currently using. The full list can be viewed in the section below. You can see the entire list from Sacrificial Pressure to weeping wounds to Organ Shatter, Primed Reach, and many more. For better results, you can replace Weeping Wounds painlessly with Gram Crita–toxidex, Sacrificial Pressure Point with Primed Pressure Point, and Cleaving Whirlwind With Tempo Royale.
